How to Get a Polished Look using Code8 Iconoclast Burnt Sienna Eyeshadow
Inspired by the warm earthy tones of Terracotta, sun-kissed dunes and copper, this red-themed palette will perfectly complement all eye colours, making them pop. As orange is the opposite of blue on the colour wheel, this palette will make blue and green eyes look more vibrant.
This is an eyeshadow application tutorial that uses a palette of 6 shades to create an evening or party look in a few easy steps.
Products you’ll need to recreate this step-by-stepeyeshadow tutorial:
Before we can get started on the step-by-step eyeshadow tutorial, we must first conquer the flawless base. To do this, we suggest blending a small amount of the Radiate Beauty Balm from the centre of your face, outwards. This will create a stunning base for you to work from.
Now, we make a start on the eyeshadow tutorial. Before applying any colour, we recommend priming the eyelids using the second lightest shade of the Burnt Sienna palette.
Next, we take the contour shade and blend it into the crease and outwards.
We then take the base colour once again, and pat this onto the centre of the eyelid. Following this, swipe the highlight colour beneath the bottom water line.
Now we have completed the eyeshadow, we move on and line the eyes with the contour eye pencil in the shade mocha. Trace this along your bottom water lines and the top lid, and smudge upwards into your eyeshadow.
No eyeshadow tutorial would be complete without a layer of mascara to finish the eye off. We swipe the brush over our lashes to separate, define and lengthen each one individually. Play around and add a couple of coats if you wish to add a little intensity to your eyeshadow look.
Now that your eyes are complete, its time to work on your complexion. We like to add a touch of the Code8 Mood Reflecting Blush Palette to our base. Swipe across your cheeks for a healthy glow.
The award-winning Code8 Highlight palette is up next, perfect to add a little glow to your complexion. Add a little to your cheekbones, temples, the bridge of your nose and your cupids bow for maximum affect.
Finish your look with the Lip Lacquer in the shade “Minimalist”, simply swipe gently across your lips for a stunning glossy finish.
