How to Get the Dramatic Look with Code8 Iconoclast Jaipur Marbles Palette
Products you’ll need to recreate this professional makeup tutorial:
We begin this MUA approved professional makeup tutorial by creating a natural looking, yet flawless base using our best-selling Radiate Beauty Balm. Add a little to the centre of your face, and blend outwards until you reach your desired effect.
Before we can move onto creating a dramatic eye look, we must first touch up our base with a swipe of two of the Matte Velour finishing powder to smooth any areas with excess oil. We suggest applying this on your T-zone for best effect. You can also use a little under your eyes to protect your base from any eyeshadow fallout.
Now we have mastered the base, it’s time to make a start on our professional looking, dramatic eye look. We start by adding a touch of the highlight shadow all over the eyelids. Next, we use the pinky, contour colour to apply on the crease, blending gently outwards.
To add a little more drama to this look, it often helps to line the lower lash line using the emerald green colour. Lastly, we take the darkest shade in the palette, and use it to add a smoke effect in the outer corner.
To build on the dramatic eye look we have created, we love to line our lash line and smudge the black upwards into our smokey eye.
To finish the dramatic eye look, we add a couple of layers of the Lash Sophisticate mascara to our lashes. This helps to separate, define and lengthen each lash one-by-one.
In order to tie your dramatic eye in with the remainder of your professional makeup look, we recommend adding a little blush to your cheeks for a fresh and youthful look. Here we use the shade “Merlot”.
Our award-winning highlight palette is the next to be put to use in this professional makeup tutorial. We suggest swiping a brush with the product over your cheekbones, down the bridge of your nose and over your cupids bow for some extra glow.
We love to finish all looks with a stunning lip product, and this dramatic eye look tutorial is no different. Here, we used the Lip Lacquer in shade “Midnight in London”.
That concludes our MUA approved, professional makeup tutorial. We hope you recreate this dramatic eye look at home!
