To Elevate Your Look
Discover new ways to wear your favourite products thanks to social media
TikTok isn’t just for viral dancing videos and funny animal clips, it’s also home to thousands of beauty videos, with makeup artists and enthusiasts from around the world sharing useful tips and tricks with their followers. We’ve spent some time swiping through the app so you don’t have to, and have found three of our favourite TikTok makeup hacks that will help you to elevate your beauty looks in an instant.
The faux face lift TikTok hack
The first TikTok makeup hack we wanted to cover was the ability to fake the appearance of a firmer, tighter and more lifted face using Rikki Sandhu’s non-surgical facelift hack.
The beauty influencer recommends focusing products on the area of your face where your cheekbones naturally begin, to help draw people’s attention upwards.
To copy her technique, apply a line of Code8 Seamless Cover concealer from the outer corner of your eye up to your hairline. Follow with a line of cream contour directly underneath that and a line of 5Secs Lip & Cheek Colour in Off Broadway under that. Then blend all three products together in an upward motion and you’ll have a more sculpted face that’s incredibly flattering. Plus the intense hydration properties of these Code8 luxury makeup products will give you a long-lasting glowy look with a hint of sheer colour.

The fluffy brush TikTok hack
The second TikTok makeup hack we came across was from pro makeup artist Eman who recommends taking a large, clean fluffy brush, and once you have completed your beauty look, sweeping it all over your face. She says it’s the easiest and quickest way to blend out any lines and remove excess powder. It will also help all your products blur together so your complexion looks seamless. A simple, but effective TikTok makeup hack we had to share!

The powder eyeliner TikTok hack
TikTok makeup looks can often be very bold, but makeup artist Alesandro has a great hack for anyone who wants to achieve polished eye makeup that’s ideal for every day. He recommends creating a winged liner look using powdered shadows and claims this look is particularly flattering on hooded eyes.
To recreate the this TikTok makeup look, take the Code8 Iconoclast Eyeshadow Palette in Velvet Chrome and blend the berry shade from the inner corner out across the lid. Then, take the second warm metallic brown colour from the centre of your eyelid crease and wing it out.
Finally, use an angled brush and one of the darker coloured eyeshadows from the palette, to create a flick that extends beyond the eye outwards. Use makeup tape to help get a clean line, and voila. A winged eyeliner look, without using any eyeliner. The Iconoclast eyeshadows work particularly well for this beauty hack, as they’ve been created using revolutionary Knead Technology. This means they have a highly pigmented formula, a long-lasting colour and beautifully silky texture.
