Code8 Beauty is honoured to announce itself as the official beauty partner for Fashion Trust Arabia 2022. Notable names and industry fashion leaders such as Bella Hadid, Naomi Campbell and Poppy Delevingne were in attendance for a series of events scheduled by the Qatar Creates Foundation across the last week of October.
Throughout the week Code8 Beauty’s artistry team was led by Global Celebrity Makeup Artist, Sir John, known for being Beyoncé’s makeup artist of choice and the man behind the looks for THAT Vogue Cover Story (you know the one). The team created over 120 makeup looks for VIP guests, including international supermodel Karolina Kurkova, Vogue’s Global Contributing Fashion Editor-at-Large, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, Fashion Entrepreneur and Influencer Karen Wazen and Actor, Ed Westwick.
One of the most anticipated events of the week was the coveted Fashion Trust Arabia Awards Ceremony, a non-profit initiative that highlights and supports emerging designers from the MENA region. This year, the awards were co-hosted by Jodie Turner-Smith, saw a performance from global phenomenon, FKA Twigs, and named Janet Jackson, Jourdan Dunn and Paula Abdul as presenters, amongst many others. In attendance were the likes of international model, Jasmine Tookes, Co-Chair of the British Fashion Council and Founder of Fashion Trust Arabia, Tania Fares, and Egyptian Icon, Yousra, all of whom wore Code8 Beauty.
Thursday marked the Grand Opening of the Forever Valentino exhibition, by Giancarlo Giammetti himself. Another star-studded occasion, attended by the likes of model and influencer, Olivia Culpo, renowned fashion editor, Anna Dello Russo, international influencer, Leonie Hanne and leading Egyptian actress, Yasmine Sabri, all wearing Code8 Beauty.
Naomi Campbell’s Fashion for Relief EMERGE Fashion Show and Charity Gala closed the week out in style. The show was opened by Bella Hadid and saw supermodel Chanel Ayan, and fashion model, Precious Lee, walk the catwalk as well as Lucas Castellani feature in ‘Naomi and Friends’ to close the show – all three wore Code8 Beauty.
Throughout the week, monumental public art installations by world-renowned artists Olafur Eliasson, Ernesto Neto, Simone Fattal and Yayoi Kusama were unveiled as part of Qatar's Northern Heritage Site activations alongside an extensive public programme of panel conversations and workshops.
