So despite spending ages deliberating over the colour match guides I unfortunately ordered the wrong shade at first (5-N25) which was a rather costly mistake. I then reordered 3-NC15 which is much better although I could afford to go even lighter in the winter. At first I wasn't too sure but I am beginning to really like the balm. It gives a radiant finish without being too shiny and feels like it's moisturising on your skin. The coverage is very light and at 55 I need a bit more help so if I'm going out I will dot some foundation where needed to get the best of both worlds. It's very light on which I like and feel like it really absorbs into your skin rather than sat on top. I do feel the shade range is heavily biased towards dark tones. I'd like a shade lighter in the winter but the next one down (2-N10) looks too yellow and the lightest option (NC05) looks nearly white! I've never found myself that far down the scale, I'm normally in the mid beige range for make up.

The coverage is beautifully light and natural, never heavy or cakey. It hydrates my skin without feeling greasy or oily, which is exactly what I need. After application, my skin looks genuinely radiant and healthy with a subtle glow. The SPF15 is a wonderful bonus for daily sun protection. The texture blends seamlessly and feels comfortable all day long. Perfect when you want to look polished but natural. Highly recommend.

This is the 2nd bottle I've bought. I love the lightness of the balm and the smoothness it goes onto the skin. Friends cannot see i am wearing any face makeup as it blends so well and looks natural without any dryness. Applying a 2nd layer intensifies the look. It hides sun damage well so produces a younger look to the skin,
