It’s really hard to photograph the lipstick itself because it’s shiny, but i wanted to show how luxurious the packaging is. I was so surprised when it arrived, it felt like a real luxe treat, with lots of tissue paper and inside it is like a ring box with a foam insert. Would be a nice present or definitely a good way to treat yourself. The lipstick is a lovely colour and really moisturising. Would definitely buy again!

I had never heard of code8 until I tested this lipstick. It comes in a great range of colours. I chose lost in translation. It is a gorgeous deep red. It looks amazing on, highly pigmented with a lovely soft matte finish. It feels lovely and moisturising on, not dry at all. It lasts for ages with no bleeding. The only reason it lost a star is because it transfers very easily. I would happily buy it again in different colours.

I can’t say enough good things about this lipstick. Ok, it’s not cheap, but it’s so worth the cost. It gives a gorgeous matte finish which lasts really well. You need to let it ‘dry’ for a couple of minutes before eating & drinking, but one it’s set it stays really well. It glides on really smoothly and has no noticeable scent. Also, the lid is magnetic, so it’s really satisfying to close and is less likely to come open in my bag. I used shade ‘zoom on the beach’ and found it to be a lovely peachy nude perfect and every day & a great match for my freckles!

Great item went on really well and stayed all day while I was out….packaging was prefect looked really lovely especially if you giving it as a present
