First up - I love the packaging of this product. Glass bottle, lid fits securely and the pump functions beautifully, allowing you dispense as much (or as little) as you wish. As the name suggests, this is a radiating beauty balm. Coverage is light, imperfections still show through. However it definetly evens the skin and 100% adds radiance as my pictures demonstrate. I only have the beauty balm (shade NC05) on in my photos as I want to show a realistic view of what the beauty balm achieves on my dry, spot prone skin with hyperpigmentation and uneven skintone. Other products layer on top like a dream. Zero cakeyness which I'm prone to with most base products. I honestly had never even heard of code8 prior to being offered this claim. I will definetly be exploring other items from their range as I reach for this daily now. Thanks influenster and Code8 for the privilege!

From the first application, I could tell that the Code8 Radiate Beauty Balm is designed for those who love a natural, effortless glow. The formula is lightweight, hydrating, and blends like a dream, making it perfect for an easy, everyday makeup routine. It feels comfortable and breathable no heavy or cakey sensation.

Code8 beauty balm is a tinted moisturising foundation with an SPF and UVA blocker. It has a very creamy texture with just enough coverage to get rid of redness and some minor imperfections. It's easy to apply thanks to its velvety texture, and doesn't leave any oily residue. What I really like about it is how moisturising it is. My skin really looks and feels better with it on.

I was a little sceptic about it when I ordered it but when I tested it I actually liked it. First of all the packaging is very pretty. The formula is lightweight and absorbs quite quick. It is actually like a tinted moisturiser in a way. It gives your face nice colour. Not sure if it’s the colour I’ve chose but it’s just gives me a nice beige colour, it’s not overpowering like a foundation. The only minus is the price, I wouldn’t pay as much as £43 .

A lovely foundation, don’t be put off my the name, it’s not a balm, it’s a foundation, and a very glowy one at that, blends like a dream, you don’t need much, as you can see from the photo, the colour isn’t a perfect match but honestly it doesn’t matter as it seemed to adapt to my skin. And is so longlasting, it stuck around all day, i would say it is light coverage, but I don’t use tonnes, so I think it can be built up to give higher coverage. Superb, I can see why it has won awards.
