I was a little sceptic about it when I ordered it but when I tested it I actually liked it. First of all the packaging is very pretty. The formula is lightweight and absorbs quite quick. It is actually like a tinted moisturiser in a way. It gives your face nice colour. Not sure if it’s the colour I’ve chose but it’s just gives me a nice beige colour, it’s not overpowering like a foundation. The only minus is the price, I wouldn’t pay as much as £43 .

A lovely foundation, don’t be put off my the name, it’s not a balm, it’s a foundation, and a very glowy one at that, blends like a dream, you don’t need much, as you can see from the photo, the colour isn’t a perfect match but honestly it doesn’t matter as it seemed to adapt to my skin. And is so longlasting, it stuck around all day, i would say it is light coverage, but I don’t use tonnes, so I think it can be built up to give higher coverage. Superb, I can see why it has won awards.

The packaging is modern and expensive looking. The balm is light in texture but has good coverage build up and gives an amazing finish look. The shade is exactly as advertised. The balm has a nice scent. I would highly recommend and will definitely be purchasing in the future.

This Beauty Balm is probably my biggest discovery this year. I have the lightest shade that blends perfectly with the skin. I apply this foundation with my fingers, it applies very well. It has a delicate scent that quickly dissipates. The coverage is light to medium (for me it covers slight redness), it does not get into wrinkles and does not emphasize dry skin or pores. The skin looks rested, radiant and healthy. The foundation looks good on the face all day long. The packaging is glass, very aesthetic. The pump works very well, dispenses the foundation without jams.

I’ve usually been put iff from colour matching my foundation online, but I found the code8 website useful. I liked being able to look at pictures of people with a similar skin colour to mine, rather than figuring out if I’m warm or cool. Good coverage and buildable product. The packaging is lovely, and I’m impressed with the overall effect.
