How to relax at home with
Hello lovelies, my name is Tania Hergenhahn, and I am a London based blogger/content creator. On my IG I focus on fashion, beauty, travel (currently none of this), by sharing my daily looks, skincare and beauty tips. Also, I genuinely care about our planet, so I try to focus more on the sustainable side of things.
I’ve teamed up with Code8 beauty to share a few tips on how I relax at home during this strange and challenging time.
I think it is essential to keep our brain healthy, to be happy and the best tool for that is Meditation. I prefer guided meditations; for this, I use Calm app, it has so many great options. Headspace is very good too and if you don’t want to pay for an app, there are lots of amazing free guided meditations on YouTube.
Yoga is my favourite type of activity and its great way to relax. Again I use a few apps, like Asana Rebel, Alo Moves, Daily Yoga. Also, I love Boho Beautiful videos on YouTube and the amazing thing is that they are free.
Listen to podcast
I am a podcast addict and I love how much information you can get out of them. My all-time favourite is Deliciously Ella, I love the topics they cover, from mental health to gut health. Have been listening to them for years. A few others I love are: Talking Tastebuds, Naked Beauty, The Guinea Pig and currently Coronavirus: Fact vs Fiction (to know my facts from professionals, as there is so much misinformation online about current status).
Read the book
I spend time reading books in the early morning and in the evening. The first part of the day I read self-development books (currently Intuitive Living a great book about how to learn to live intuitively and start loving yourself). Before bed, I prefer to read a fiction novel (I just finished Three Women by Lisa Taddeo).
Do a facemask
I am obsessed with facemasks, and now I have all the time in the world to do them. My current favourites are Biossance Masque Regenerate, Odacite Bioactive Rose Gommage, Ren Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask, Peter Thomas Roth Mineral-Rich Atomic Heat Mask.
I hope you enjoyed reading what have been getting up to and I hope they are helpful and bring inspiration. Stay home and most importantly stay safe.
